Born of water and of the Spirit (a brief talk about baptism)
John 3:5 KJV
“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I
say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter
into the kingdom of God.”
John 3:5 KJV.
I think for John 3:5 I think is that since for our
current day we are not saved by baptism that it might mean that "born of
water" might refer to being born of a woman (when a woman's water breaks
before a baby is born), and born of the Spirit is when you're saved and The
Holy Spirit goes into you. So the correct answer is No baptism doesn't save us
for Gentiles today and we are not saved by OUR works (or efforts) (Ephesians
2:8-10) we were created FOR good works (After salvation). For our current
"dispensation", I struggled with this one for a long time as well not
understanding whats going on. It is a wonderful thing to do so if we can we
should definitely do it. (Water baptism full immersion in the name of The Lord
Jesus Christ).
Its believed that the book of Acts is a
"transitional book" dealing with the Jewish people at the beginning
and then dealing with Gentiles (us that are not Jewish) toward the end. In OUR
Gospel (1Corinthians 15:1-4) its by faith in the death, burial, and
resurrection on the third day of The Lord Jesus Christ according to the
scriptures. Important salvation verses are: 2Corinthians 7:10-11, 1Corinthians
15:1-4 (how we are saved), Ephesians 1:13-14, Romans 3:20-26 and Romans 10:8-13
is important as well.
You'll see in Romans chapter 10 it mentions about
"calling" on The Lord, this is important too.
Scriptures in the link are: 2Corinthians
7:10-11, 1Corinthians 15:1-4, Ephesians 1:13-14, Romans 3:20-26, Romans 10:8-13.

I dont know why Denlinger uses nazi
imagery for steven anderson (dont watch anderson) but this video can hopefully
explain some things too. As a side note I wouldn’t trust steven Anderson, I’ve
seen some instances where I would not trust him based on what he believes and
how he acts, If I don’t trust him then I’m not referring him to you as a
trustworthy person for biblical subjects simple as that.
Also avoid pentacostal churches if you get baptized,
they're into some really bad stuff. Try to get a saved man to baptize you such
as an older brother, or your dad or uncle etc if you can't find a church. MANY
things are wrong with pentacostal churches.
