HOW TO BE SAVED ! Plus Other Scriptures.

2 Corinthians 4:4

"in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." KJV.

^ This refers to satan the lowercase "god" who blinds unbelievers. Jesus Christ is the REAL God this is why Jesus has a capital "G" when we say Jesus is God. 


2 Corinthians 7:9

"Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing." KJV.


2 Corinthians 7:10

"For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death." KJV.


Romans 3:20-26

Authorized (King James) Version

“20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” KJV.


We are not righteous or good people we NEED Jesus as Saviour.

Romans 3:10

"as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" KJV.


Below is The GOSPEL, this is what we need to believe/trust in.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 

"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" KJV


Romans 10:8-13 

"But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." KJV.

Believe the Gospel (1Corinthians 15:1-4) without ANY of your own works or doings. A thing called "works salvation" is heresy.


Ephesians 1:13-14

Authorized (King James) Version

“13 in whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.” KJV.


AFTER Salvation, lets look at the armour of God.

Ephesians 6:12-13 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." KJV.

Ephesians 6:13-20 "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19 and for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.” KJV.


Water baptism in The Name of The Lord Jesus Christ (not to get saved, but this is what we should do AFTER being saved) and be careful to NOT go to a Pentecostal church to do this. I speak from experience.

Acts 10:47-48

Authorized (King James) Version

"47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days."


Romans 6:1-4

Authorized (King James) Version

“6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” 


YOU WILL Still sin after salvation dont worry, just confess and try harder. However we should try to have control over our flesh and God will help sanctify you.

1 John 1:8-9

Authorized (King James) Version

“8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” KJV.

Confess sins to God (The Lord Jesus Christ) and NOT To a priest or pope. Only God can forgive sins, and this is for fellowship and so that we dont get punished in THIS life for our sin. We need to always confess to Jesus.

1 Corinthians 11:31

“For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.” KJV.
