NIV is a PERVERSION. The King James Version is God's perfect word.

Why the NIV (New International Version) is a perversion of God's perfect word. God's perfect word is the Authorized (King James) Version.


Examine the first example:


1 Corinthians 1:18

Authorized (King James) Version

"18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which ARE SAVED it is the power of God." KJV.

1 Corinthians 1:18

New International Version

"18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are BEING SAVED it is the power of God." NIV


Now the difference is huge, either Jesus saves you by His grace through faith in what He did on the cross. Or you are not saved and you are still in your sins. The NIV is of the devil. The truth is that AFTER you are SAVED you are being sanctified (fixed by Jesus) but because we are still sinful flesh we will not attain sinless perfection in this body.

Ephesians 1:13-14

Authorized (King James) Version

“13 in whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.” KJV.


1 John 1:8-9

Authorized (King James) Version

“8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” KJV.


Romans 10:13

Authorized (King James) Version

"13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

Authorized (King James) Version

Examine the SECOND example:


Colossians 1:14

Authorized (King James) Version

"14 in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:" KJV.

New International Version

"14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." NIV.

The IMPORTANCE of BLOOD. If there is no blood shed, there is no remission of sin.

Hebrews 9:22

Authorized (King James) Version

"22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission." KJV.

 

Examine the THIRD example:


Luke 2:33

Authorized (King James) Version

"33 And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him." KJV.

New International Version

"33 The child’s father and mother marveled at what was said about him." NIV.

JOSEPH IS NOT JESUS' FATHER! Joseph was like a parental caregiver for Jesus when Jesus was young. God is Jesus' Father. But when you know the scriptures you see that Jesus is GOD (all throughout scripture). This is why knowing the scriptures is something only God help us do. Also, God The Father is named Jehovah. NOW understand there is a cult named Jehovah's Witnesses, they are evil and they use God's name in vain. Mary is Jesus' mother, she gave birth to Jesus. But also note, Mary is also JUST A WOMAN, Mary is NOT God and therefore DO NOT worship Mary in prayer or with rosaries or anything else. Worshiping Mary is idolatry. She is not God. Jesus is God. Jesus is born of The Holy Ghost inside Mary, this is so that Jesus could be both the Son of man (son of people you could say) and the only begotten Son of God (Jehovah) but the reason Jesus was born from Mary was so that He would have the same lineage as King David and could be the Son of man (I hope I used correct wording in this long explanation). As in all cases, consult the scriptures not what I or ANY MAN says, use the KJV (King James Version of the Holy Bible). 

Luke 1:26-38

"And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27 to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. 38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her." KJV.

Matthew 18:11

"For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost." KJV.

"16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." KJV.

New International Version

"16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." NIV.

Jesus is the ONLY BEGOTTEN Son of God. Now there are other "sons" of God, see these examples.

Genesis 6:2

Authorized (King James) Version

"that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose." KJV.

Genesis 6:4

Authorized (King James) Version

"There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown." KJV.

Luke 3:38

Authorized (King James) Version

"which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God." KJV.

Again, these are sons of God but not God's BEGOTTEN Son there is a major difference. Begotten means having brought forth from the womb. These men such as Adam were created, and the OTHER men were born of a woman, only Jesus was born of God through Mary. (I hope I used correct terms). If I marry a woman and have a child with her, that boy or girl would be my begotten child because it came directly from me through the body of a woman.

Luke 1:34-35

"34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God."
