2 Corinthians 5:17

2 Corinthians 7:9-11

9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. 10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. 11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

 

2Corinthians 7:9-11 covers BEFORE salvation (verse 9), during salvation (verse 10), and AFTER salvation (verse 11) the changed life that follows that goes along with 2Corinthians 5:17.

 

Acts 20:21

"testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ."

 

So a non repentant believer would think believe toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Right (sarcasm). Its a change of mind, or grief, depends on the context.

 

Hebrews 6:1

"Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,"

 

Acts 26:20

“20 but shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judæa, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.”

 

Think logically, if you're a sodomite, and you're saved, you really think God is gonna let you fornicate with men and call yourself a Christian? NO He is going to clean up your mind once you ARE saved.

  C atholics worship Mary and the saints and supposed statues of them, A picture tells a thousand words. And these false idols are all the same. Yes the picture on the bottom  is from Buddhism (and this document is about Catholics) and those statues ARE NOT SAINTS. And don’t pray to saints because THEY ARE NOT GOD!
