Understanding the Term “Unto Salvation”

  understanding the term “unto salvation”. The word “unto” is used in what’s described as a function word to indicate reference or concern, as we will see in the following verse which is Romans 1:16 which talks about the gospel of Christ being the power of God “unto salvation”; which means that the gospel of Christ is unto salvation; or in reference to salvation; or concerning salvation.     Romans 1:16 Authorized (King James) Version “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God  unto   salvation  to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”     The gospel concerns salvation because this is the major thing that someone needs to put their faith in for salvation since we cannot save ourselves as we are not righteous and that the gift of eternal life is a gift and is not earned by us. According to 1Corinthians 15:1-4 and Romans 3:25, you need faith in Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, and faith in Jesus’ blood;

A changed life, born again, a new creature in Christ Jesus

  Did you have a changed life AFTER Salvation? : let him that stole steal no more, born again, new creature, works meet for repentance, etc.   Ephesians 4:28 Authorized (King James) Version “28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.”   John 3:3-7 Authorized (King James) Version “3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”   1 Peter 1:23 Authorized

What is Biblical Repentance

  BIBLICAL REPENTANCE . The word repentance is a hard word for people to grasp because it can mean slightly different things depending on the context in which its used. It can mean grieved, or a change of mind or yes at times even a turn from sin, such as a saved individual that turns from a sin with The Lord’s help, also repentance can mean something such as a change leading to an action. And yes, even if you go to the Greek or a Websters 1828 dictionary, you can come up with the same conclusion if you read the full definition as well as if going to the Greek via a concordance.   More and more, I find myself looking to the Bible to define words rather than websters or The Strong’s Concordance. Tools are meant to help us not hinder us. We have a perfect Bible, The Authorized Version of the Bible which is nicknamed the King James Version. If you speak or read English, THIS is the Bible.   The Geneva Bible is close but it is not The Authorized Version. Through ignorance or disobe

The IMPORTANCE of CALLING UPON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, looking at Ephesians 1:12-14, and Romans 10:8-14 how it pertains to the Gospel which is 1Corinthians 15:1-4

  The IMPORTANCE of CALLING on The Lord, we are TALKING ABOUT Ephesians 1:12-14, and Romans 10:8-14   1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Authorized (King James) Version “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”   Ephesians 1:12-14 Authorized (King James) Version “12 that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 in whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 which is the earnest of our inheritance until the
